Organic Calea Zacatechichi - Dream Herb
Overview
Calea zacatechichi, commonly referred to as dream herb, bitter grass, or Thepelakano (Leaves of the Gods), is renowned for its use by Mexican shamans and other indigenous groups of Central America. The Chontal Maya and other native communities have used it for its mental properties, particularly to induce lucid and prophetic dreams, considering it a sacred herb.

Traditional Use and Benefits
The dream herb is traditionally brewed into a tea to enhance the quality of dreams, which includes making them more vivid and allowing the drinker to exercise control over them.
Preparing Dream Herb Tea
- Boil one cup of water.
- Add 2-4 grams (approximately 0.4 to 0.8 teaspoons) of dried Calea zacatechichi.
- Steep for 10 minutes.
- Strain and drink prior to bedtime to experience enhanced dreaming.
